Yes, as per confidentiality of care laws anyone over age of 14 can discuss the need for testing with their pediatrician and get results before their parents/legal guardians. State laws may vary so discuss with your pediatrician about this as pertaining to Texas lawas.

Agree with Dr. R Singh. Many testing sites/hospitals provide a patient portal where patients can view their own health records. You may ask your doctor about the patient portal. You can always ask for a copy of your results. Get HPV and Covid vaccines.
