I had false positive hiv elisa 2 yrs ago (negative on multispot confirmation test). tested twice negative on elisa since then (most recently a week ago). no risky behavior in the last two years. is this conclusive? should i get a dna test to be sure?

It's very unlikely: HIV with the history you mention! I would back a decision to do the ULTIMATE most up-to-date test available for you to rest comfortably without the OBVIOUS worry that "haunts" you! Hope this is helpful BE WELL Dr Z
