I am trying to stop opiod use?

Stopping opioid use is one of the hardest things you can do. Opioids trigger an incredibly powerful cascade of signals and can override our rational and logical processing. Know that you are not alone. Resources include your EAP at work if you are employed. SAMHSA has a national helpline at 800-662-4357. Na.org has local chapters that can help. It's up to you.

Find a doctor who you trust and can work with. Realize that it will take time. Stay the course, even though tough, you can do it
