Can infectious colitis cause an enlarged spleen? and also, is being morbidly obese (bmi over 50) cause a spleen to be enlarged (15 cm)?

Spleen size changes with height but not weight so obesity is not associated with big spleen. Max size of the spleen for women is 13 cm. Some types of infection can cause enlarged spleen (splenomegaly) but I do not think it happens with infectious colitis.
