My bmi is 50 (obese class 3). i am extremely anxious of getting corona as i believe its a risk factor? apart from exercising and eating healthy (which im starting tomorrow), what else can i do to better equip myself for dealing with the virus?

See below: Good luck with lifestyle changes -not easy, but worth it - Obesity , particularly in younger people, does seem to increase complications in of covid infection -It does not make you more at risk for getting the infection -so use safe practices-social distancing, masks, and hand washing -and avoid getting sick in the first place

COVID 19: Yes, morbid obesity is a risk factor for more severe disease. Wash hands often with warm water & soap for at least 20 seconds. Avoid touching eyes, nose or mouth unless hands have just been washed. Use a face covering or mask when in public. Practice social distancing – stay at least 6 feet from others (outside of family). Stay away from crowds. Stay home as much as possible.
