Epiduo and other acne preparations can be drying to the surrounding skin. It may be necessary to stop usage for awhile and then resume applying less frequently. A bland lotion can be soothing, but will not stop the problem if you continue to apply. If it is itchy or doesn't resolve promptly, see your doctor, preferably the one who provided the Epiduo.
