A member asked:

My knee catches at times in the bend. doctor said it could be calcium buildup or piece of cartilage. is this a true assumption? if so how can this be fixed? can calcium be dissolved? can cartilage be removed. help please. this just started?

I believe that an MRI would give you a definitive diagnosis. A piece of cartilage is a definite possibility. An orthopedic surgeon is best to evaluate and advise you.
