Oral Contraceptives contain hormones that regulate your menstrual cycle. Typically, when a woman misses 1-2 pills, their natural hormones take over and the protection wanes and needs to be reset. Do not take all three. Continue taking one per day. Use an alternative form of birth control in addition to your pill for 10 days or until you have your period to prevent pregnancy.
