There are basic definitions to remember. Prebiotics are anything that supports germ growth & are generally a waste of money, germs can live on undigested foods. Probiotics are safe germs that grow in volume to push out the unsafe germs. Digestive enzymes just aid your digestion. You cannot overdose on these, but some are less helpful than others.

Objective evidence for the usefulness of probiotic is lacking. Unless you have deficiency of pancreas, taking digestive enzymes is not warranted. If you have digestive symptoms, you should consult a GI specialist. Wish you good health!
