I was wondering if taking lexapro for depression and 100mg of trazadone is safe. i'm a copd patient with asthma.and just recently started trazadone and have been uncomfortabley bloated and shortness of breath and lower back pain. can these be related?

Lexapro and especially trazodone can cause sedation and impair your respiratory “ drive”. Especially with severe COPD or asthma this can cause hypoventilation. Potentially very serious, life threatening condition. Check with pulmonary doctor
