Walking 20-30 minutes 3-4/ week is an excellent exercise for maintaining health and fitness. If you have scoliosis, inaction or immobility could well create aching and stiffness. If you can tolerate "long distance walking" or hiking, not a bad choice. Swimming might be an alternative low impact approach.

Before I would answer that question I would want to know the cause of your scoliosis. Lynnway difference is a major cause of scoliosis or curvature of the spine. If they limiting his present this needs to be addressed you could also have pelvic rotation creating the same type of scenario. As much as 3/16 of an inch can make a major difference. A podiatrist physical therapist or orthopedic surgeon
