I had covid back in dec. 2020. very mild only loss of taste and smell no other symptoms. today i woke with a stuffy nose and slightly scratchy throat. can you get covid twice and if so, how soon after initial diagnosis? could this be allergy or cold?

Covid infection can reoccur. The immunity from an initial Covid infection can last up to 3 months. It is common to see reinfections after this time. The only way to know if it is Covid versus a cold is to get tested. The Covid Vaccine protects longer up to a year which is why it is highly recommended. Infection with Covid can cause long term problems.
