In general, COVID vaccines are fine to get while using contraception. That means one should not experience any interaction between Depo-Provera shots and COVID vaccines. One rare vaccine side effect in the news is the rare blot clot side effect, but Depo-Provera is a progestin medication, and progestins don't affect a person's blood clotting. We can live normal lives if all get fully vaccinated.
