Can a thyroid ultrasound pick up anything stuck in the throat?, such as a pill?

Pills get usually dissolved in time and an ultrasound may not pick remnants of a pill. If you feel as having something stuck in your throat would suggest starting with a thorough ENT exam that may directly visualize the mucosa and possible abnormalities.
