"Plan B" is essentially a estrogen/progestin pill, and taking it during a normal cycle will produce slight withdrawal bleeding and perhaps cramps, as happens when estrogen levels drop just before menstruation. If your period is delayed , obtain a serum HCG test to be certain about pregnancy.
