It's probably safe to crush them, but not necessarily. Best to check with the pharmacy where you got them. You also could ask the pharmacy about different forms of the drugs. One form of azithromycin is a powder to be mixed with water and swallowed as a liquid (fruity-bitter taste, but it goes down fast). And perhaps an oral suspension of cefixime is avaiable (used mainly for young children).
