My 15 yo daughter has persistent,severe sharp, throbbing lower right abdominal pain for the past week. the pain is mostly on the lower right side but does spread to the side/back & lower left side. abd/pelvic us was clear.dr has no idea what it is?

She was examined by a doctor and US was done so the most likely and dangerous causes such as appendicitis, pelvic infection disease and cholecystitis/cholelithiasis were ruled out. US of the abdomen is not sensitive enough to rule out kidney or ureteral stone. US will miss early phase of ureteral blockage by stone. She needs to be re-evaluated and she may need a CT of the abdomen and pelvis.
