Recently i started having occasional accidents at night, both urine and fecal. my question is, where do i go from here? do i see a doctor? should i buy some sort of protection to wear at night in the meantime if i cant get an appointment soon?

You should for sure see a Dr. This is never normal at your age or any age. I would get protection in the mean time but check with the person who does your laundry.

While you are waiting for an appointment you should use a protective sheet to prevent the mattress and undersheets from being contaminated, you can get "Depends" from you pharmacy. Eat early in the evening and don't drink anything late at night. That should help temporarily.

A protective device would not hurt temporally but should obviously not be considered a solution to the problem. Accidents of the sort may be related to underlying neurologic conditions and I believe a neurologist would be a 1st stop To investigate this problem.
