Last 8 weeks now been experiencing lower left abdomen pain everyday it's not painful just more like a pressure and burning sensation below and above belly button also accompanied by alot of mucus in stool which has eased off my stools are normal?

Your complaints are suggestive of an inflammatory bowel process. An underlying infection cannot be totally excluded. You may want to consider an antibiotic trial such as metronidazole and see what happens to the symptoms. Short of the above may down the line require a colonoscopy.
