Lymph nodes live to drain infections out of your body. Painless nodes that are movable under the skin are usually carrying out their usual function. At 4 weeks this is not worrisome. These can also be removed surgically.

You may feel the nodes every few days, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
