MCAS is a serious disorder causing very profound allergic reactions that are emergencies. Your IgE level is within normal limits. Most physicians don't have much experience with autoimmune hives where the precipitating agents come from within your own body. I assume you are seen,treated by a rheumatologist and/or allergist who can best advise you.
