34 year old female non-smoker. feeling of something scratchy stuck in throat when i swallow especially after drink of water. like a stuck piece of bread in one spot. odds of throat cancer? i also suffer from chronic rhinitis. would this cause it?

As a non-smoker, cancer of the throat is very unlikely. Post nasal drip from sinuses is a likely possibility. You might get a nasal spray from your pharmacy to try. If that does not clear things up, then see you family doc or an ENT doc.

For sure you do not have throat cancer but I cannot rule out there is something stuck (imbedded) on the back of your throat. If symptom persists after a couple days of eating, you need to see your doctor for a throat exam.
