I had a colposcopy in december 2020 with a biopsy result stating all normal and negative. my doctor told me he did not see abnormal areas, but took a biopsy just in case. what do this mean? does this mean my hpv is not chronic or clearing up?

The tissue and or cervical scrapings can be tested for HPV and would provide definitive answer. Tissue examination will also reveal if there are any pre-cancerous lesions. Wish you good health!
