How often should you take xylitol/day. should you rinse with xylitol before brushing teeth so if you have an acidic mouth (like me) you aren't brushing acid into teeth? if you rinse with xylitol for 5m. how long will it work at cavity prevention?

IF you have an acidic saliva content in mouth rinse with a combination of Water and Hydrogen Peroxide also brush with a little baking soda, all will lower the acid content. To prevent cavities brush and floss.

Xylitol is anti cavity and it has effect on Salivary PH .You will not be causing any harm with Xylitol even your Saliva is acidic. Five minutes is too long for a mouth rinse but will be effective within two to three minutes . AXylitol mouth wash should be used two to three times a day depending on needs .You can also find Xylitol Chewing gum which stays effective in mouth each time of chewing .
