I have noticed that holding in a bowel movement causes a urine leakage what can this be?

Hello, I am a physician and holding a bowel movement could cause urine leakage because of a few factors like increase in pressure in the pelvis. There is also the possibility of weak urinary bladder neck muscles, or pelvic muscles, that makes it easier for the increased pressure to cause a leakage by directly pressing on the bladder. Pelvic muscle exercise could be helpful in reducing the events.
