Hi there i play soccer/football and i always get bruises on my foot and shin because of people stepping and kicking me. is there anyway i could minimise this or recover faster. i use ice, heat, compression, arnica cream but nothing seems to works ?

Wearing shin guards, 2 pairs of socks, and moving a bit faster might help prevent the injury, but regarding healing, you mentioned the correct items. Icing initially limits local swelling, and elevation if needed, but after 12-24 hours, heat brings more local healing factors, and topicals decrease pain. Massage may also stimulate healing. But, I suspect prevention is what you need to focus on.
