A member asked:

Is diclofenac sodium 3% just stronger than diclofenac sodium 1% or a different drug altogether? are both good for rheumatoid arthritis pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Same NSAID but one is indeed more concentrated than other. Diclofenac can be used externally or systemically, and could indeed help with pain management. Check with your doctor, as to how often to use and where to apply. Rheumatoid arthritis is complex, and this drug may not be sufficient to control your issues.
