How long does it take after the first shot of moderna to receive some immunity? i'm aware that i need a second shot and i will be getting one in a few weeks but im curious to know if i have some protection in the meantime?

Measurable immunity starts to appear around 10 days after the first dose and is nearly maximal after 2 weeks. You'll be substantially (but not completely) protected as you await the second dose. But don't press your luck_ continue with social distancing and masking.
