A member asked:

If you developed antibodies after a covid-19 vaccination would that prevent a breakthrough case?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Vaccinations are not 100% effective, but range from 67% to 95% in preventions. Today the AMA published data that there have been 5800 known covid infections in those who have been fully vaccinated. This equals 0.008% of those vaccinated in USA, so while post inoculation infection CAN occur, the odds are VERY VERY low for this to occur. Masking, social distance and hand washing recommended.
