A member asked:

In prediabetes- can does blood glucose take a long time to go down at night or can it spike at night?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Much depends on intake, and there really is no rule here, so blood glucose levels are on the whole, erratic and elevated, also hyperglycemia will definitely happen if you eat at late times in your daily routine
