If you're having breakthrough episodes of paroxsysmal tachyarrythmias, I recommend consulting a cardiologist with a specialty of electrophysiology. It's important to avoid medications that block your AV node as this would facilitate conduction through the accessory pathway with dangerous very rapid heart rates. You may be a candidate for ablation of the accessory pathway.
