Ask Mom and Dad: In some families, the teens keep growing a little bit each year in college because their growth plates haven't completely closed. There are usually other relatives with the same trait, so mom and dad should know of some. One's pediatrician (from prior years), or another doctor experienced in childrens' and teens' growth, can evaluate to see if any tests or anything should be done.
