Small lump under jaw only on the right side for the past 10yrs. it will become sensitive, not swollen and then go away for mnths. i notice it when i bend my neck forward or all the way right. it will be sensitive for a day then go away but why?

If the lump has not grown in 10 years, let it be. It may be a scarred lymph gland that is palpable and responds to changes in oral flora. You may feel the node every couple of weeks, if the lymph gland doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor.
