A member asked:

Am 21 year old female. recent diagnosed mild pcos. told to take krimson35 for 3 months on day 2. took 1st month course, missed a dose but completed whole pack. got spotting 4 days before expected periods. will i get periods & when to start next dose?

With even "mild" PCOS, ovulation is delayed, causing delays in menses of considerable duration. While taking oral bcp's, some protection against constant estrogen stimulation of the endometrium is provided, but punctuality is required to avoid "spotting". The bleeding from a bcp cycle is not a post-ovulatory event, and is usually mild.
