Frosted mini wheats has 90% rdi iron. can my 4yr old eat a serving a day instead of taking supplements (hard to disguise taste)? seems too easy.

But so much sugar: Cereals are fortified with many nutrients that make them seem almost too good to be true...And perhaps they are. Sugary cereals like the frosted ones are packed with sugars, leading to short-term energy, but little lasting energy or nutritional value. If your doctor says your child needs extra iron for some reason, talk to them about how much is enough and see if a different supplement will work.

Iron gummies: Have you tried the iron gummies? They're pretty tasty. If you get these, be sure to keep them tucked away, well out of reach of little hands, so you don't have to worry about accidental iron poisoning from too many gummies.
