It is quite common to feel as if teeth and tissues are shifting after surgery, pressure is applied to lift out the tooth that was removed. Follow the instructions, no rinsing for 24 hours, warm salt water rinse three times a day after that for the next 7- 10 days, soft food. You had surgery. Pain usually begins to ease off after 48-72 hours. The General Dentist or Oral Surgeon, the practitioner that knows your situation best, is responsible for your post-surgical care. Call him/her and report your symptoms.
