The inside of my cheek around my wisdom tooth (but a bit farther back) is extremely sore. swallowing and opening my mouth irritate it. help?

Take Tylenol (acetaminophen) or NSAIDs OTC for pain control. Dentist will treat a tooth abscess by draining it and getting rid of the infection. See your dentist ASAP.
