5 years ago an unrecognized uti was accompanied with chills and fever on days 2-3. went to dr. given antibiotics and went away. would you know if you had kidney damage by now? bun, creatine, protein normal. what would be off on tests? was it sepis?

Kidney damage is extremely rare from UTI, and your blood tests show normal kidney function. With chills and fever, it's possible your UTI caused sepsis, but that makes no difference now.
