You should seek care at a local Urgent Care clinic so that they can evaluate your throat and possibly do a throat culture.

Agree with the other doctors: get throat culture for strep, get COVID-19 PCR, and exam. Although unlikely at age 40, the facial swelling would make me think of mumps in a child. See your doctor and get this handled.
