Sore Throat/Viral So: Viral infection of the throat is common as almost everyone gets it 1-2 times in a year. Neck Glands can enlarge in some cases. if the glands are big and pain you need to be sure that it is not Strept- throat which is a more serious infection and requires medical check up/tests and antibiotics. Do you have fever? Go see your doctor if you have one, or you may have to go to the hospital Emergency-Rm
