I have this rumbling in my ear it seems to happen when im nervous or uncomfortamble and i only started to notice it a few days ago ive been considering going to the doctor and want to know if its serious before i get an apointment?

This could be irritability of the ear drum but could also be a variant of tinnitus. Since you have no ear pain, headache, hearing difficulty or vertigo I doubt a serious problem but symptoms warrant an examination by your GP or an oto!aryngologist especially if it's new onset tinnitus.

You should visit with your doctor to ensure nothing is going on in the ear. My suspicion given intermittent "rumbling" is that you are having middle ear muscle spasm and it is not a serious condition. Do, though, get your ear checked out to make sure there isn't anything that can be seen on your exam. Best of luck to you.
