Which medications? If you are taking ibuprofen it would not be a good idea. But if you need hypertension medication you can't stop taking it for an upset stomach

Unfortunately not enough for a meaningful answer. For example if one of the pills that you are taking is believed to cause your symptoms, it is a good idea to stop taking it and let your prescriber know. Also if unable to keep anything down, food or liquids would not worry about taking the pills as chances are they will not stay down. Letting your prescriber know would be best regardless.
