Have a hernia in the groin after ultrasound says it is 3.2x2,is this big or smaller size that may be able to live with?

Depends. If it was discovered incidental to testing for some other reason and you have no symptoms than you do not surgery. Just be careful about heavy lifting or straining. Size is 'medium'. Unless it enlarges you will be fine
