This is an unusual dose, unless perhaps you have not responded to previous treatment and your doctor is trying a higher than usual dose. About 10% of vaginal yeast infections are entirely resistant to all "azole" drugs. Discuss all this with your doctor, including possible alternative kinds of treatment. Good luck.
