How common is phlegmon in your armpit? i got it on my left side and it cleared up with antibiotics. now i believe i have the same thing on the right armpit. im on antibiotics again and waiting for ultrasound?

This is an abscess which may respond to antibiotics but sometimes needs to opened up with an incision to allow the pus to drain. There is a condition known as hidradenitis supporitiva which causes these abscesses. Since you are getting an ultrasound, your doctor can discuss this with you .
