Good evening, for the past 3 hours i have an excruciating pain in my stomach which comes and goes. 2 hours ago i took 2 sachets of gaviscon but it has not changed the pain!? can you assist

More description of your abdominal discomfort is needed in order to advise you. Where in the abdomen is the pain located? Causes of acute abdominal pain includes gall stones,pancreatitis, peptic ulceration appendicitis, intestinal adhesions,incarcerated hernia, other causes of intestinal b obstruction. If pains persist&there's associated tenderness you should be seen in the emergency room ASAP.
