Runny nose on its own can be caused by a variety of viruses. If you experience additional symptoms such as headache, cough, fever, etc, you should get tested for Covid 19. Treatment is the same no matter what virus. Acetaminophen for fever/body aches/headache, nasal decongestants and cough suppressants. Drink lots of fluids and get plenty of rest.

Where you are not experiencing symptoms of some sort of infection, some patients do have a condition call non-allergic rhinitis or even just chronic rhinitis. Best to try a nasal steroid spray first.
