All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, consult an endocrinologist as it is general practice to start thyroid medication before obvious hypothyroidism. Wish you good health!

This runs in some families and if so is called Gilbert syndrome.go to uptodate.com and read more then discuss with your Dr. Agee with your team on thyroid but do not have any details. Uptodate has good discussion of low thyroid. Look for their BASICS and BEYOND THE BASICS.
