Bottle fed?: If bottle feeding, you can try a half teaspoon of karo syrup n a 4-8 oz bottle of the formula and that often can help with constipation in an infant. Good luck.

Options:: Is he breastfed or formula fed? Breastfed babies are hardly ever constipated. Formula babies often are, due to the iron. Try 1-2 teaspoons of mineral oil (orally), or half a glycerin suppository you can buy in your drugstore. If it continues to be a problem you can continue the mineral oil daily, or very small doses of miralax (polyethylene glycol). Lyou can also add 2 oz prune juice with 2 oz apple juice daily.
