My periods have recently started being about 50 days apart. like the last 3 or so. this last period has been more painful than normal. it also was very light. i am 21. not currently sexually active. what could this be? should i see a doctor for it?

Missed periods or delayed periods can lead to increased pain and cramping with the subsequent period. Keep track of your periods on a calendar or in your cell phone and bring to your next annual GYN checkup. Unlikely to be worrisome. Your doctor can regulate your periods with birth control pills but this may not be needed. Good luck.
